UFC on ESPN+ 63: Charles Jourdain chokes out Vannata, removes his shorts in the process

In an outstanding lightweight constest, Charles Jourdain fniished the always entertaining Lando Vannata in just under 5 minutes.

As soon as the action started the two began to trade strikes.

Later in the round, Jourdain was able to drop Vannata with a punch and quickly followed him to the ground.

Once the bout became a grappling contest, Jourdain showed he was leagues above his opponent.

From the bottom, Jourdain worked into getting his arm under Vannata’s neck. Later it became only a matter of time until the Canadian fighter decided to lock in the guillotine choke and stop the fight.

One interesting fact drew attention from fans. Lando Vannata lost his Venum shorts while attempting to hip escape from Jourdain’s guard in order to defend the Submission.

With that victory, Jourdain cements himself as a potential Featherweight contender. The Canadian is now on a 2 fight win streak, and called out the Brazilian veteran Edson Barbosa for a potential future featherweight contest.
