UFC may have pushed Chris Daukaus further than he was ready for. During the UFC Columbus main event the elephant in the room was UFC’s desire to streamline a replacement for sidelined Ngannou.
Daukaus’ record is far from perfect – he succumbed to Derrick Lewis back in December. But this is the second card he’s headlined.
During round 2 of their bout, heavy handed Blaydes crushed Daukaus with a devastating right. Daukaus fell to the ground. There BLaydes piled on ground and pound and Herb Dean came to Daukaus’ aid.

Man, I feel like the UFC might’ve rushed Daukaus a little too fast. #UFCColumbus
