UFC London: Arnold Allen stands and bangs with Dan Hooker in R1

UFC London continues to bring great fights. In the co-main event of the evening, England’s own Arnold Allen faced the seasoned veteran Dan Hooker in a featherweight showdown.

The fight started at a crazy pace. Allen started a brawl with Hooker, landing several hard punches that rocked the New Zealander.

After another flurry of punches and knees, Allen had Hooker in so much trouble that the referee had no choice but to call the fight and award the British with the TKO victory.

With that victory, Arnold Allen is now on 11 fight win streak, and is undefeated in the UFC.

At the post-fight interview, Allen stated that he deserves to be ranked in the top 5 of the division and that he wishes for a fight against the current number 5 ranked Featherweight Calvin Kattar.

Meanwhile, his opponent Dan Hooker appears to be in a tough spot in his UFC career. The fan-favorite fighter tried returning to Featherweight after a series of losses as a lightweight. However, after tonight’s defeat, Hooker has lost 4 out of his last 5 fights and is on a two-fight losing streak.
