UFC featherweight blasts youtuber for saying UFC is exploiting their talent

UFC pay scale leaves much to be desired. While the generations of Dana White’s family are likely to be financially secure, same cannot be said even for some of greatest MMA athletes of all time.

Youtuber Faze Temper recently stepped in for Dillon Danis and will be facing youtuber KSI in a boxing match up.

Faze shared his thoughts on UFC’s horrible model:

“I hope the MMA world grows financially because these fighters, especially UFC fighters, they deserve more, brother. They’re getting robbed,” FaZe Temperrr said.

“What Jake Paul is doing right now, joining PFL and helping these fighters financially, I have huge respect for him because these fighters deserve more. They’re getting robbed. I hope this world gets bigger and fighters start to get paid what they deserve.”

These comments quickly made an impression on one of UFC’s featherweight competitors.

Charles Jourdain took offense to Faze’s comments and published the following on his social media:

“Keep sitting behind a computer and talk, martial arts are a way of life that soy boy can’t understand. We don’t want you clowns to “help” us.
You guys are fake and make money of being fake.
Can’t fake being a real UFC fighter.”

Faze will be boxing KSI on January 14th on Misfits Boxing card in the UK. Jourdain is on a losing spree having lost to Shane Burgos and Nathaniel Wood. At 27, he has an MMA record consisting of 13 wins 6 losses and 1 draw.

He’s been with the UFC since 2019. If we’re to assume he was on a typical $12,000 to show, $12,000 to win starter contract he’s likely still competing for between $50,000 and $70,0000 per bout.
