UFC debutant picks up Rolex watch after win

In a last-minute addition to the UFC Vegas 72 card, Marcus McGhee made his debut in an exciting catchweight bout against Journey Newson. McGhee, who had most recently competed for LFA in January, stepped up to the plate on short notice after Brian Kelleher was forced off the card.

From the get-go, McGhee put on the pressure and came out swinging with high kicks and a jumping knee attempt. Although Newson managed to catch the knee and shrug off the danger.

McGhee continued to push forward with dangerous power punches that landed on Newson’s dome. McGhee’s forward pressure seemed to cause issues for Newson throughout the round, and he ultimately won his first round in the UFC.

In the second round, Newson attempted to take control by putting on forward pressure and landing the first shot, but McGhee did an excellent job reading Newson’s attempts. With just over a minute and a half into the round, McGhee stuffed a Newson takedown, landed a quick left hand, and dropped him to the mat. The debutant quickly secured the dominant back control and locked in a RNC, forcing Newson to tap out.

He managed to get a $50,000 bonus for the performance.

McGhee celebrated the win just days later by purchasing a Rolex watch estimated to be worth $22,000.

McGhee appears to be sporting Men’s Rolex Oyster perpetual Datejust with a diamond bezel.

The watch features a champagne fluted motif dial adorned with diamonds that add a touch of elegance and luxury to the timepiece. The case is made of a combination of stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, creating a two-tone effect that is both stylish and versatile.

The bezel is also made of 18k yellow gold and is fluted, adding to the watch’s classic and refined look. The Jubilee bracelet is also made of a combination of stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, creating a seamless and sophisticated look.

The Rolex Datejust 126283RBR features a self-winding mechanical movement, providing accurate timekeeping with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The watch also has a date display function, which is a hallmark feature of the Datejust collection.

The date display window is located at the 3 o’clock position and has a Cyclops lens that magnifies the date by two and a half times for easy reading.

The Rolex Datejust 126283RBR has a water resistance rating of 100 meters (330 feet), making it suitable for swimming and snorkeling but not for diving.

The watch also has a screw-down crown and case back, ensuring that the watch is securely sealed and protected from water damage.

The watch is certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC), guaranteeing that it meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.
