UFC CEO Dana White confirmed that plans for the White House card are already finalized, revealing details during his post-event media scrum at Zuffa Boxing 3.
When asked about the highly anticipated White House event during a recent press conference, White made it clear that preparations are well underway.
“We have like two different options laid out and the matchmaking process has already started. So, yeah, we got the White House house card done last week,” White stated.
When the reporter asked if the card is “all ready,” White confirmed that it was.
However, White remained tight-lipped about specific details, refusing to confirm how many title matches would be featured on the historic card.
When pressed for more information, he simply responded, “I’m not saying anything.”
White revealed that he and his team will soon meet directly with President Trump to finalize production details.
“Me and Borsari actually fly to DC this week and sit down with the president and his team and start walking them through not just the production, but the fig ht card,” White explained.
The UFC CEO emphasized that multiple production concepts are being considered. “We have like three different options on all the different production stuff and see what he likes and what he doesn’t like.”
White promised that the White House card would be unlike anything fans have seen before. “Let me tell you this. This event is going to be so bad**s and so unique and so special and so expensive,” he said.
Dana also addressed questions about how the event would be announced to the media. When asked if there would be a special announcement, he remained noncommittal, stating, “I don’t know yet as we get closer. We’ve been kicking around a lot of ideas.”
During the conference, White confirmed positive news for fans attending UFC 326, which takes place the same week as Zuffa Boxing 4. When asked about the possibility of ceremonial weigh-ins for the boxing event at the UFC fan experience at T-Mobile Arena, White responded, “Yes, you’ll be hearing about all that soon.”
