There are quite a lot of stakes going into UFC 281 for both Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira. Adesanya is the favorite heading into this weekend – perhaps due to his extensive experience in MMA.
“He should be the favorite. I don’t know why – these betting people, whoever makes these odds sometimes – I just think he should be the favorite in this fight.”
Adesanya also went on to say that life is on the line and to confirm he’s not looking past Pereira when it comes to his personal goals.
Meanwhile Pereira was just announced as the new addition to the UFC game. He’ll be joining Rafael Fiziev and Taila Santos in the update.
But in addition to the lucrative deal to be in the game, Pereira also has the chance to be on the cover of the latest edition.
Previous edition of the game featured Masvidal and Adesanya on the cover. It’s unclear if they will just swap existing cover on Gaming services such as Steam or if a more meaningful update is in the works.
Whilst EA Sports hasn’t officially announced that they’re making UFC 5, they more or less did confirm they’re making a 5th UFC game when they signed a contract extension with the UFC a few years back.
Ea has followed the release schedule of releasing a game every two years upto now but it’s unclear if they will keep to it – especially considering 2022 is almost over.
