UFC 277 Highlights: Michael Morales pulls off Vicious KO Over Fugitt

In the main event of UFC 277’s preliminary card, Michael Morales maintained his perfect record.

Morales was originally supposed to square off against Ramiz Brahimaj. However, Adam Fugitt took over after Brahimaj was forced to withdraw.

Fugitt is as competitive as they come. He used his wrestling in the first round and matched Morales’ punch for strike in the second. However, Morales would soon demonstrate his might.

In 1:09 in the last round of the preliminary competition at Dallas’ American Airlines Center, the match was stopped.

In the third round, Morales connected with a clean punch that knocked Fugitt to the ground. He may not have been completely out. However, the referee likely prevented him from suffering needless damage. With this victory, Morales’ record now stands at 14-0.

The 23 year old’s future seems promising. In his 14 professional bouts, Morales has currently recorded 12 finishes. In January, he defeated Trevin Giles by knockout to earn his second UFC victory.

On the other hand, a four-win victory streak for Fugitt was broken.

Once the event was finished, Morales explained how he was accompanied by an unlikely lucky charm at the event. According to his own account, a cereal box toy provided him with the luck required to land the finishing strikes on his resilient opponent.
