Sean O’Malley’s code was cracked by Chito Vera – and Pedro Munhoz was determined to follow the template. Munhoz layered on the kicks left and right and Sean O’Malley once again had an inability to respond to them.
Heading into tonight O’Malley signed a lucrative new contract with the UFC.
“Top 5, all those guys are very, very dangerous,” O’Malley said. “Top-10, really. It comes down to who performs better on that night. It’s crazy to think like ‘damn, okay. After I’m done knocking out Pedro… I have killers’. From here on out, I’m only fighting killers. It’s pretty crazy to think about. Just taking it one fight at a time.”
Munhoz was the only participant on the main card coming off of a loss.

Munhoz was given a moment to recover but to no avail. Once the ringside physician came to assist him he revealed he couldn’t see at all out of his right eye.
At this point Jason Herzog called the fight off. Sean O’Malley performed his ‘basketball shoot’ celebration, oddly enough.
It sprung a number of memes online.
