Tai Tuivasa walked out first to Cyndy Lauper’s legendary hit Girls just wanna have fun. The crowd wasn’t having fun – perhaps because Derrick Lewis is a hometown favorite with the event taking place in Houston, Texas.

Fans did a shoey as Tuivasa was being introduced.
Tuivasa clinched Lewis fast and delivered some knees to the body and legs of Lewis.
Lewis landed a big one mid round 1 and clinched up Tuivasa. Tuivasa didn’t surrender and threw knees to the body while backed to the fence.
Tuivasa reversed the position and backed Lewis to the fence and then Lewis delivered a takedown. While TUivasa was down Lewis just threw 4 or 5 heavy shots.
