Prior to their boxing match, further details about the match between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury were made public.
Tyson Fury believes that his younger brother Tommy should “spice up” their rivalry.
When Tommy and Jake square off in the ring in Saudi Arabia this weekend, the former Love Island star will finally get the chance to settle his differences with Jake.
According to Paul, if he loses on February 26 a stipulation in the contract would trigger a rematch. It’s logical to assume that Jake Paul wants the chance to quickly exact revenge if he loses to Tommy Fury in their first clash.
Paul confirmed there’s also penalties for not making weight:
For whatever reason, the two are not friends and have used every chance to disparage each other. The boxers now have the opportunity to physically harm one another.
But heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury has a better plan than telling his younger brother to just outbox his opponent on the night.
Tyson told BT Sport,
“It’s a good fight and they’re good dance partners. I think Tommy needs to do a bit more talking, actually.”
“Spice it up a little bit, get in his face a bit more, and ruffle his feathers. Grab him by the blonde hair and nut him maybe, I dunno.”
Despite the fact that Tommy has been largely untested up to this point, the expectation lays firmly on his shoulders considering his bloodline and lineage coming from a boxing family.
As for Jake, has been talking a big game. This is perhaps his biggest test to date as he is fighting an actual boxer who is under the age of 40.
Tyson said, “I see Tommy getting him out of there in around about five or six rounds. don’t think it will go early, as he (Jake) can box a little bit, I’ve seen him boxing and he’s getting better every month.”
“Tommy should get to him and if he doesn’t I’d like to see a knockout either way, for sure.”
