Tyson Fury mocks Jake Paul after accepting $1million bet with Youtuber

The heavyweight champion Tyson Fury made fun of Jake Paul after accepting a $1 million wager from the YouTuber on the outcome of his August fight at Madison Square Garden.

Fury was responding to Paul’s previous request to “up the ante” from $100k to $1millilon. The Youtuber-turned-boxer Paul was obviously certain that he would win when the two faced off in the ring.

On August 6, Madison Square Garden will host the much-awaited rescheduled match between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury. Fury had previously pulled out of the first one due to injuries.

In the video that was shared on Twitter, Tyson Fury mimicked an American accent. He seemed to accept the high-stakes wager that had previously been made.

However, the British boxer expressed skepticism about Paul’s capacity for raising the funds. He said: “Hey Jakey, I want to see this million dollars in escrow sucker. ‘Because I don’t think you’ve got a million dollars. ‘I’m not talking about crypto, I’m talking about real US green bags mother****er.”

Paul has defeated Tyron Woodley, Ben Askren, Nate Robinson, and Ali Eson Gib since going professional in the ring.

The American also earned over £30 million in the ring last year. He will fight Tommy Fury in August, which will be his toughest test to yet.

The first time Paul increased the stakes was when he responded to Tyson Fury’s declaration in an earlier interview that he would wager £100k on his brother to defeat Paul in a fight.

In his popular video, Jake claimed to have earned more money than heavyweight champion Tyson Fury last year.

Jake Paul said: “Tyson Fury who made $40million last year is willing to bet $100k on his brother. ‘Oh my god, we’re shaky. Hey Tyson you f****** p****, I know you didn’t make as much as me but let’s up the ante.”

“Let’s bet a million on it Tyson. However much you want to bet, let’s do it.”
