Trans Woman says we should make Paralympic athletes compete against Olympic athletes for DEI

In a heated exchange on Piers Morgan’s show, transgender activist Blossom sparked controversy by advocating for the elimination of separate categories in the Olympics, suggesting that all athletes – including Paralympians – should compete together in the name of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

During the discussion, which included former NCAA swimmer Riley Gaines, Blossom claimed that “women are just as strong as men” and supported merging all Olympic categories into gender-neutral competitions.

When Morgan challenged these assertions by referencing tennis history, specifically mentioning how Serena Williams has acknowledged she would struggle against top-ranked male players, Blossom dismissed the evidence. The host cited a notable match where the 203rd-ranked male player defeated both Serena and Venus Williams decisively.

“This country was built on diversity, equity, and inclusion,” Blossom stated, defending the position that all athletes should compete together regardless of gender or physical capabilities.

Morgan and Gaines strongly opposed this view, with Morgan calling it “the most insane thing I’ve ever heard from any trans activist in history.” They argued that such a system would effectively eliminate opportunities for women and Paralympians to win medals.

The debate then briefly veered into politics, with Blossom bringing up former President Donald Trump and felon voting rights before Morgan steered the conversation back to athletics.

The exchange concluded with Morgan pointing out that Blossom’s version of inclusion would paradoxically result in exclusion: “So your diversity, equity, and inclusion turns out to be unequal and doesn’t include any Paralympian or any woman.”

The segment has since generated significant social media discussion, with many viewers and commentators expressing strong reactions to the proposed elimination of separate athletic categories.
