The man that provoked Mike Tyson into assault refuses to press charges, cooperate with Police

Mike Tyson caught a lucky break. Yesterday the heavyweight boxing legend got into an altercation on a plane when the man seated behind him opted to test Mike’s patience by talking into his ear, water battle shenenigans and more.

Tyson’s rep acknowledged the (videotaped) incident.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” the spokesperson told ESPN.

San Francisco Police have confirmed that two people involved in the incident were detained, with one being treated for injuries.

But – the incident might not backfire against Tyson. In a new tidbit that was just released we learned that the ‘victim’ of the assault wasn’t keen on pressing charges. Instead he opted to just move on with his life.

Police confirmed to ESPN that they were called to the incident in San Francisco a little after 10pm as the plane prepared for take-off. They spoke to two men, neither of whom they identified, before both were released. “That subject provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation,” an officer said.

Considering the injuries were light and that the so called victim doesn’t want to press charges it’s doubtful Tyson will face any serious charges related to the incident.
