Sean Strickland is accepting of the fact that Dana White sees UFC athletes as ‘cattle’

While Paddy Pimblett is out there talking about journalists exploiting MMA guys in the company of UFC president Dana White, Sean Strickland embraces the hectic reality.

Strickland won the favors of the audience thanks to his ‘no filter’ approach to press conferences and interviews. Nowadays, it’s as if he gets into hot water weekly.

He’s previously called out everything from grooming in UFC to Ronda Rousey’s mental health struggles and James Krause’s betting shenanigan.

Strickland was observing the drama centering on the light heavyweight division over the weekend.

UFC brass went a bit overboard once main event of UFC 282 turned into a flop and – even worse ended in a draw. Not to mention that Ankalaev questioned the organization in the cage in addition to the judges.

This prompted UFC to make a rash judgement, call Jamahal Hill and book a new match for the vacant title for UFC 283.

This got a harsh reaction from AKA’s Josh Thomson on Weighing In.

“Yeah, Dana doesn’t give a f*ck. These guys are still in the back getting stitched up and getting ice on their shins and f*cking Dana is already announcing the next title fight in the weight class they just fought for. He doesn’t give a s*it.”

Strickland reacted in his typical fashion:

“Dana is a business man and we are the cattle lmao just how the world works” – Strickland wrote on social media. And sadly, he’s not far off.

UFC is going above and beyond to satisfy their ESPN contract and deliver on a promised number of events and title matches while the athletes are rushed into contest and often going into it with pre-existing injuries.
