Sean Strickland calls out Joe Rogan for hating on ICE while enjoying the fact immigration is curtailed in Texas

UFC middleweight contender Sean Strickland has never been one to shy away from controversy, and his latest target is none other than podcast giant Joe Rogan. The outspoken MMA star recently took to social media to criticize Rogan for what he perceives as hypocrisy regarding immigration policy and border enforcement.

In a pointed tweet, Strickland called out the popular podcaster’s position on immigration enforcement, writing: “Joe Rogan ‘wow Trump is bad, ice is bad’

Meanwhile flees California with 10x times the illegal immigrants to Texas to live in a 14 million dollar all white home/neighborhood to talk to other rich white people why ice/trump is bad.. you cant make this s**it up..

Trump 2028.”

The former UFC middleweight champion’s criticism centers on what he views as a disconnect between Rogan’s publicly stated positions and his personal choices. Strickland suggests that while Rogan may criticize immigration enforcement agencies and certain political figures, he has chosen to relocate from California to Texas, where immigration issues are reportedly less prevalent in his affluent neighborhood.

When another user on social media attempted to provide context about population differences between Los Angeles and Austin, Strickland doubled down on his position.

He questioned how California became predominantly Democratic and suggested that when Texas faces similar political shifts, Rogan would simply relocate again.

“How did California become a blue state?? When Texas finally gets over taken and becomes a blue state then he will move to Montana and say ‘its democrats’ no its illegals,” Strickland wrote.

The fighter has been vocal about immigration issues in recent weeks, sharing his complex views on the subject. “Im aware that the majority of migrants from Mexico are just looking for a better life…… But…. If American doesnt treat them like a foreign invader this country will slowly be destroyed….” he posted on October 28.

Strickland’s commentary on Rogan comes as the fighter himself remains a fixture in UFC headlines, with fellow middleweight Robert Whittaker expressing interest in facing him at the upcoming UFC White House event, part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration.

Whittaker told Fox Sports Australia’s Niko Pajarillo that he has been pursuing the matchup for some time, calling it a potentially exciting bout for fans.
