The ongoing feud between UFC middleweight Sean Strickland and motivational speaker David Goggins has taken a sharp turn, with Strickland launching his most pointed accusations yet against the former Navy SEAL.
In a recent social media post, Strickland didn’t hold back his criticism of Goggins, stating: “From day one, I said Goggins is a fraudulent narcissist… ‘Do the hard thing’ ‘carry the boats’ ‘abandoned your kids’ ‘carry my balls.’ It started with snake oil salesman, preacher scam artist to the social media influencer. Different product same routine.”
The timing of Strickland’s latest attack appears connected to recent family revelations surrounding Goggins. When asked about his motivations, Strickland explained: “Daughter came out and pretty much called him a dead beat which is a pretty standard characteristic of a snake oil salesman narcissist.”
This reference stems from recent public disclosure where Goggins’ 21-year-old daughter posted on social media calling out her father for being absent from her life.
The post, captioned “Mama, I’m chasing a ghost. #10years #silenttoolong #daddyissues #donebeingquiet #donewiththelies,” has sparked intense debate about the motivational guru’s personal life.
At a recent Aspire Conference, Goggins addressed these family tensions directly. He firmly denied being a “deadbeat dad,” noting he never missed child support payments and settled a lawsuit with a payment exceeding $1 million.
The emotional discussion revealed that the last text he received from his daughter stated she never wanted to see him again, addressing him by his first name rather than “dad.”
Goggins’ mother also took the stage during the conference, sharing how David’s own father was abusive until he left the household. She stressed that Goggins’ daughter had been raised in a safe, supportive home and “doesn’t know what a bad household is like.”
