Schaub on Liver King’s Rogan Stunt: You’re going to get f–g starched

Brian “Liver King” Johnson’s persistent attempts to confront podcast titan Joe Rogan have drawn commentary from former UFC fighter and comedian Brendan Schaub, who recently addressed the fitness influencer’s unlikely quest.

In a candid assessment, Schaub outlined the improbability of Johnson’s plan to confront Rogan, highlighting multiple layers of obstacles.

“Let’s say you pull off what you think you’re gonna do and get access to Rogan, which is never happening,” Schaub stated bluntly. “But let’s say you’re able to get through the wall of special forces security that he has, jump the gate that he has, get through security, get through all the bullsh-t, the guns, the dog… good luck.”

Schaub, who maintains friendships with both men, emphasized that Johnson may be underestimating Rogan’s combat capabilities. “Then you get face to face with a guy who’s trained in taekwondo, he’s a black belt, competition black belt in taekwondo… not to mention he’s a black belt in jiu-jitsu.”

The conflict stems from Johnson’s public admission in 2022 that his muscular physique wasn’t solely the result of his heavily marketed “ancestral” diet of raw organs but was achieved with approximately $11,000 monthly in PEDs. Since then, Johnson has repeatedly targeted Rogan on social media.

Johnson’s fixation recently escalated when he was arrested in Austin, Texas, on charges of making terroristic threats after posting videos challenging Rogan to a confrontation. Court documents revealed Rogan told police he considered Johnson’s posts threatening and that the fitness influencer appeared “significantly unstable.”

Despite being served with a restraining order, Johnson continues posting provocative content, including a recent video where he made thinly veiled references to maintaining the court-ordered distance from Rogan while simultaneously taunting him.

Schaub suggested Johnson’s viral pursuit could backfire spectacularly. “If your goal is to get attention and to go viral, you’ll go viral, yeah,” Schaub noted, “but you can go viral from getting beat up.”

The one-sided feud continues to generate headlines, though Rogan himself has remained silent on the matter, choosing not to engage with Johnson’s escalating provocations.
