Ryan Hall Returns To UFC in December & Announces Prograppling Return

Ryan Hall will be returning to the cage in December! The grappling wizzard turned MMA fighter will be trying to redeem his ranks following a stunning ko loss by the hands of Ilia Topuria earlier this summer.

Hall will be returning in December at UFC 269 on December 11th against Darrick Minner.

Minner has a pro record of 26 wins and 12 losses. He’s been in the UFC since February 2020 and has the  UFC record of 2-2. Minner lost to Darren Elkins in his last fight in July 2021.

Interestingly, Ryan Hall put on one of his best fight performances against none other than Darren Elkins back in 2019.

But perhaps more surprsing is that Hall is likely to return to the pro grappling circuit. Overnight it was shared:

Hall placed 3rd in 2009 in the 66kg division of the ADCC. It is more likely this pro grappling return will be a superfight than a full on division participation.

Hall has been a bit disparaging in the past regarding the state of pro grappling saying:

In the same interview he was quoted saying:

“I feel very fortunate to have come up in a time in jiu-jitsu where MMA was the end goal”…”culturally, I find jiu-jitsu obnoxious at this point”
