Boxing star Ryan Garcia recently made an unexpected request to boxing legend Claressa Shield. However, Shields quickly shut down Garcia’s weird proposition.
Boxing Kingdom shared the peculiar exchange between the two on social media platform X. In the post Garcia suggested that if he and Shields had a child together, the baby would be “superhuman.”
Garcia DMed Shields and wrote: ”If we had a baby, the baby would be superhuman.”
Known for her no-nonsense attitude, Shields promptly dismissed Garcia’s suggestion. She advised him to seek professional help.
Shields bluntly responded: ”You need help Ryan”

This incident is not an isolated one for Garcia, who has been notably active and controversial on social media in recent months. In a now-deleted post, Garcia publicly proposed to pop star Billie Eilish and asked her out on a date.
This came shortly after he declared his celibacy on X. He wrote: ”I’m celibate leave me alone”

Garcia then went on to pursue Eilish in another public post. He wrote: ”Billie Eilish I love you let’s go on that date respectfully, you and I forever”

Then through his Instagram Stories, Garcia claimed that they had already started dating. This raised eyebrows and fueled further speculation about his mental state.
Beyond his social media presence, Garcia’s personal life has been tumultuous. He has denied involvement with the secretive Bohemian Grove and experienced a highly publicized divorce from his wife on the day their child was born. These incidents have significantly impacted his public image and raised questions about his personal life.
Despite the controversies, Garcia’s boxing career continues to flourish. On April 20 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, Garcia faced Devin Haney in a highly anticipated match. Leading up to the match, Garcia faced criticism for his unconventional training methods and missing weight.
But Garcia silenced his critics with an outstanding performance, winning the bout by majority decision. The judges scored the bout 112-112, 114-110, and 115-109 in Garcia’s favor.
