Ronda Rousey is expecting her second child. She is a former UFC champion and WWE wrestler. Rousey and her husband, Travis Browne, have a two-year-old daughter, La’akea Makalapuaokalanipo. They announced the news at San Diego Comic-Con.
Rousey shared the news during a panel with Dave ‘Batista’ Bautista. Fans were very excited. She was at the convention to promote her graphic novel, “Expect the Unexpected.” The novel will launch through Kickstarter.
Rousey described her project as a mix of “Knocked Up meets John Wick.” The main character is a nerdy assassin and hopeless romantic.
Rousey’s career has been impressive. She was the first women’s champion in the UFC. She defended her title six times. Her record was 12-0 before entering the UFC. She lost to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes. After retiring from MMA, she joined WWE and found success there too.
Rousey and Browne married in August 2017 in Hawaii. They welcomed their daughter La’akea in September 2021. Rousey is also a stepmother to Browne’s two sons from a previous marriage.
