Rogan fell for a fake photo of Ilia Topuria’s ex with a UK rapper and then proceeded to call her a “monster”

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience featuring Derek from More Plates More Dates, the conversation took an unexpected turn into the personal drama surrounding UFC champion Ilia Topuria.

During their conversation, the topic shifted to Topuria’s recent personal troubles. The timing couldn’t be worse for the two-division UFC champion, who has been dominating inside the octagon but struggling outside of it.

Derek noted the unfortunate timing of Topuria’s personal life derailing at the peak of his career, stating, “Somebody’s got to get him a bad woman. He’s got to get his boys in his corner.”

The discussion revealed that Topuria’s ex-wife has been publicly posting provocative content, including photos with rappers, in what appears to be a deliberate attempt to damage the fighter’s reputation.

Rogan’s reaction was visceral and unfiltered. When discussing the photographs that had been circulating, he didn’t mince words about Topuria’s ex-wife’s behavior, calling her actions monstrous. He said: “This is the mother of your children and this lady is a monster.”

“There’s nothing worse than feeling like psychologically duped by somebody too,” Derek observed.

Rogan expanded on this theme, explaining the particular cruelty of reputation destruction tactics: “And women, that’s what they love is reputation destruction. That’s what they’re  really experts in when s**t goes sideways.”

He went on to describe how the situation plays out: “You hooked up with a guy who is an incredibly special human being. The rarest of rare. Not just a UFC world champion, but a two division world champion superstar who the whole world wants to see and you’re his wife.  So you’re like, ‘Oh, look at me. I’m married to the baddest motherf**ker alive.’ And then he doesn’t want to be with you anymore. Like, ‘Oh, really? Well, I’m going to f**king take you down.'”

The viral photo claiming to show Topuria’s ex-wife Giorgina getting cozy with a ‘famous rapper’ has been making the rounds online. However, recent clarification reveals the image is completely fake.

The original photo, taken in 2023, shows her posing with her own brother. The doctored version has been used to fuel the narrative of infidelity and tarnish Topuria’s image during a sensitive time.

Yet misinformation like this spreads fast, and even people like Rogan fell for it, using the rumor to further criticize her behavior.
