Rampage Jackson stated about Jon Jones in an interview with Chris Van Vliet,

“Jon Jones is a great fighter. Even if he was standing in this room I would say it, but he is the dirtiest fighter ever. The guy is so smart. He does the most dirtiest things.”

“If you’re doing anything good on him, he’s going to poke you in the eye. If you’re advancing or doing anything good or you get the advantage, he’s going to kick your knee backwards.”

Rampage Jackson said that he intends to compete in a few more fights before calling it a career. He said, “I’d like to do some grudge matches, since I’m old and stuff. There’s a couple guys I owe some *ss-kickings to. For one, Wanderlei (Silva).”

“Then Marvin Eastman, I owe him a rubber match. We’re 1-1. And a guy from TUF, Darrill Schoonover. The guy I gave the nickname ‘T*tties.’ He hates me.”

Joe Rogan mirrored what Jackson said on a recent podcast featuring Jamahal Hill:
