Following the controversial wrestling incident that has gripped the MMA and professional wrestling communities, UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has stepped forward to offer financial assistance for the medical treatment of the victim his son allegedly assaulted.
Professional wrestler Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith suffered severe facial injuries during what witnesses describe as an unprovoked attack by Raja Jackson. Smith will receive $25,000 from the former UFC champion to cover dental surgery and related medical expenses. The offer comes as public outcry continues to mount over the incident, with nearly 5,000 people signing a petition demanding Raja Jackson’s arrest.
During a recent livestream, Rampage Jackson made the gesture public, asking viewers: “Can I nominate an American to get his smile back?” When told he could, Jackson identified Smith by name and committed to covering the costs of reconstructive dental work.
The generous offer has sparked mixed reactions across social media platforms, with supporters praising Jackson’s willingness to take responsibility for his son’s actions while critics question whether the gesture represents genuine remorse or strategic damage control.
“Rampage is a solid dude,” wrote one supporter, echoing sentiments shared by hundreds of others who view the financial assistance as evidence of Jackson’s character. Many emphasized that the veteran should not be held accountable for his adult son’s decisions.
However, skeptics have been equally vocal in their response. “His son caused the damage in the first place,” noted one critic, while another questioned the timing: “This ain’t gonna stop ur son from going to jail.” Several commenters suggested the offer represents an attempt to influence potential legal proceedings or avoid civil litigation.
The controversy stems from an incident captured on video and livestreamed, where Raja Jackson allegedly delivered more than twenty punches to Smith’s face, continuing the assault even after the wrestler had lost consciousness.
Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul described the attack in stark terms: “He tried to k*ll a man. And it was live-streamed on his Kick channel.”
Paul went on to explain the fundamental breach of trust that occurred: “You’re in there trusting each other to put on a performance and make something look good and entertaining. To completely go off script and try to f**king kill someone is insane. It’s criminal.”
The WWE personality also revealed disturbing details about the circumstances, noting that Smith initially believed Jackson’s approach was part of a scripted storyline. “Syko Stu thought that when Raja walked up, he was working in character, because he saw a camera and was building the bit,” Paul explained.
The Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed launching a criminal investigation into the incident, with potential charges including felony assault and attempted murder under consideration. Despite clear video evidence and witness testimony, no arrest has been made as of yet.
