Son of UFC legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson found himself in serious legal trouble Thursday morning when authorities took him into custody on felony charges connected to an incident that unfolded at a professional wrestling event.
Raja Jackson was arrested and booked early Thursday, with jail records indicating he remains behind bars on a $50,000 bond. The charges stem from a disturbing altercation that occurred at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles late last month.
Video captured Jackson delivering a vicious assault on wrestler Stuart Smith, who performs under the ring name Syko Stu. The incident began when Jackson slammed Smith to the mat before unleashing a barrage of nearly two dozen punches on the unconscious wrestler.
The attack continued for approximately 10 to 11 seconds before other wrestlers intervened and managed to pull Jackson away from his victim. Smith, who had reportedly engaged in a dispute with Jackson prior to the event, suffered severe injuries requiring hospitalization for several days.
Medical reports confirm he sustained a fractured maxilla bone among other injuries. Fortunately, Smith has since been released from the hospital and is continuing his recovery at home.
The nature of the assault was captured on video, and quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing widespread condemnation. Even Jackson’s famous father has taken a firm stance against his son’s actions.
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson publicly stated that Raja should face jail time for his behavior, suggesting that “a little community service,” anger management courses, and therapy would also benefit his son.
The legal case continues to draw attention, with Jackson now facing the full weight of the criminal justice system for crossing a critical line.
