PFL fighter Jordan Young dies at 27

Professional Fighters League light heavyeight Jordan Young passed away at the age of 27.

Former Bellator fighter had  alot of promise with an mma record consisting of 12 wins and 2 losses. The passing was publicized by a posting from his home gym – American Top Team.

“It’s with a heavy heart, that we have learned about the passing of our teammate Jordan Young,” read a post on the official Instagram account of ATT.

“Our team is deeply saddened by this news, as Jordan has been with our team since the start of his career. A solid teammate and always a professional in our gym. He will be deeply missed by us.

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jordan‘s family. R.I.P. to this warrior. Gone too soon.”

Young was 1-1 in the PFL, debuting with a unanimous decision loss against Tom Lawlor in June.

The cause of death has yet to be revealed.

PFL also publicly mourned the loss of this young life.

Young’s professional career was promising but he had a hard time spending a substantial lengths of time on rehab and recovery in the past two years.
