Paige VanZant switching to Prowrestling – signs with AEW

Paige VanZant hasn’t been wildly successful in hear post MMA/UFC career. Following two back to back losses at Bare knuckle FC Paige VanZant took another route. During the tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage American Top Team head Dan Lambert cut a promo revealing he’s bringing Paige Vanzant into the fold.

VanZant had been making guest appearances for AEW through out February including an odd segment when she attacked Brandi Rhodes.

Prior to this news BKFC announced they were planning to stay in the PVZ business and reportedly had ‘really good things planned’ for her.

VanZant last appeared on the BKFC 19 card this past July. She lost an unanimous decision to Rachael Ostovich. Loss to Ostovich was a particularly bitter pill to swallow considering she had defeated Ostovich in the past.

“She’ll definitely be back in late spring, early summer. One hundred percent, Paige will be back,” Feldman told MMA Junkie. “We have some really good things planned for her.

“The thing about Paige VanZant is that she didn’t win either fight, but she came to fight and she fought her ass off both times. She did really well. She didn’t take a backwards step. And look, it’s a different sport. She’s learning it. So for her to want to fight again in bareknuckle after taking two losses, you have to take your hat off to the girl. I look forward to her comeback.”
