‘Mole’ from Ryan Garcia’s training camp claims he got fired after sending Garcia to the hospital

Ryan Garcia suffered his first career loss in a knockout to Gervonta Davis at the T-Mobile Arena on April 22. Following the bout, Garcia’s sparring partner Tsendbaatar Erdenebatm came forward to say that he injured the young boxer during one of their sparring sessions.

Garcia’s partner Tsendbaatar Erdenebatm stated that Garcia’s injury resulted in a hospital visit. Erdenebatm also mentioned that he got removed from sparring after the incident and went home with half of his salary.

Erdenebatm said: “He got injured. Ryan went to the hospital, and I went home with half of my salary. I got fired from the sparring.”

Erdenebat addressed the incident on Instagram as well. Ryan Garcia previously claimed in an Instagram post that there was a ‘mole’ in his camp. Garcia seemed to suggest that Erdenebatm had done so.

However, Erdenebatm replied on Instagram stating that he did not speak English and did not leak any information. He also expressed his support for Garcia and claimed that he helped him during their sparring sessions.

Erdenebat responded :

“Hey King Ryan, my bro! My last post I used google translate. The translation was incorrect and confusing. My apologies.

Who is mole? What are you talking about? I am not mole. I don’t even speak English.

I don’t even like Tank. I will fight him and KO him in the future. During our sparring, I helped you and sparred Tank style boxing.

I was cheering for you to win against Tank.

You are a great boxer. But next time try to learn from sparring and you will not get hit by the same punch during the fight. Good luck to you and god bless!!”

The fact that Erdenebatm has come forward with this information after Garcia’s loss is somewhat confusing. The timing of Erdenebatm’s comments is unfortunate as it may seem like this Olympian with a 5-0 record as a professional boxer is trying to build his own name on the back of Garcia’s loss.
