MMA Analyst Slams Joe Rogan for Being Politically Clueless: He Went From Being Skeptical of Power to Exceedingly Accommodating

MMA analyst Luke Thomas delivered pointed criticism of Joe Rogan during his recent live chat, questioning the podcast host’s judgment and relationship with power.

During the broadcast, Thomas addressed Rogan’s recent interview choices and political commentary, specifically referencing an episode featuring Andrew Wilson.

“This is the guy that can’t open a pickle jar, right? Trying to use crushing power and couldn’t open it. The guy that got bodied in that debate by that l**bian chick and that he lost his mind,” Thomas said. “So between getting bodied by pickle jars and l**bians, it’s Joe’s show. He wants to have on f**king m**ons. I mean, that’s, you know, who can stop him?”

Thomas expanded on his concerns about Rogan’s current trajectory, contrasting it with his past approach. “I can recall a time in my life where Joe Rogan was very skeptical of power and you saw good evidence for that. And that person no longer appears to be there,” he stated. “He is now exceedingly accommodating of power.”

The analyst specifically criticized Rogan’s recent comments about ICE and immigration enforcement. Someone on his live chat stated that “Rogan partially blamed Pretti for his own passing. He also went on to blame the mentally ill left for making ICE feel unsafe. He said, ‘The left wants these deaths to happen.'”

Thomas agreed, describing Rogan as “unbelievable” and expressing frustration with his analytical approach. “He is easily fooled by AI slop. He is easily fooled by manipulative media. He is easily fooled by right-wing media. He’s just very easily convinced of things that lack a strong evidentiary basis,” Thomas said. “And he routinely drinks at that trough and it leads him to routinely out of touch positions as a consequence.”

The criticism centered on what Thomas sees as a fundamental shift in Rogan’s worldview. “These are just not opinions you ever have to take seriously,” Thomas concluded regarding Rogan’s recent political commentary. “It’s just a comically out of touch position. Like not even close. Comically out of touch.”
