MMA Analyst laughs off Dana White’s claims that Mark Zuckerberg could kick his butt due to all the BJJ and MMA training

When Dana White appeared on The Skinny Confidential podcast and passionately defended Mark Zuckerberg’s martial arts credentials, he probably didn’t expect the MMA community’s reaction would include outright laughter.

Yet that’s exactly what happened when MMA analyst Luke Thomas heard the UFC CEO’s bold claims in a recent podcast episode of Mortal Kombat.

White didn’t hold back during his podcast appearance, making strong declarations about the Meta CEO’s physical capabilities. “Mark Zuckerberg will beat the living sh*t out of you,” White stated. “All these guys that talk stuff about him on the internet, Zuckerberg will kick your a*s.”

The UFC boss explained that Zuckerberg actively trains in mixed martial arts, surfs, and maintains an athletic lifestyle that most internet critics couldn’t match. According to White, people who dismiss the tech billionaire as “some computer nerd” are making a serious miscalculation about his abilities.

Thomas, however, wasn’t buying it. When the Morning Kombat co-host watched the clip of White’s passionate defense, his response was immediate and unequivocal. He said, “No, he wouldn’t. I’ll beat that motherf**ker within an inch of his life.”

“I would f*ck him up six ways to Sunday,” Thomas declared without hesitation. “I put my life on that.”

The analyst’s confidence stems from his own extensive martial arts background. Unlike casual observers, Thomas speaks from experience in combat sports, making his dismissal of White’s claims particularly noteworthy.

White’s relationship with Zuckerberg developed through his position on Meta’s board of directors, a role he accepted after the Facebook founder personally asked him to join. The UFC CEO has been impressed by what he’s witnessed, both in the boardroom and in Zuckerberg’s athletic pursuits.

“He’s not off by a second the entire time you’re in this board meeting,” White marveled.

The conversation gained additional context when discussion turned to the previously proposed matchup between Zuckerberg and Elon Musk, which White attempted to promote. While acknowledging that Musk is older and heavier, White noted that the Tesla CEO also has a judo background from his youth. The potential promotion of that matchup became what White called “a fun moment” in his career.

White’s defense of Zuckerberg extends beyond just physical capabilities. The UFC boss emphasized that people who only know the tech CEO from “The Social Network” movie or internet commentary are missing the complete picture. What Zuckerberg has built, the team he’s assembled, and his personal character all impressed White deeply.
