MMA Analyst Calls Out Joe Rogan For Backing ICE

MMA analyst Luke Thomas has delivered a critique of Joe Rogan’s recent comments defending ICE following the agency’s involvement in the passing away of an American citizen.

The analyst took particular issue with Rogan’s placement of blame. He read out a comment on his podcast: “Rogan partially blamed Pretti for his own d*ath. He also went on to blame the mentally ill left for making ICE feel unsafe. He said the left wants these deaths to happen.”

Thomas agreed with the statement and acknowledged Rogan’s evolving political views over time. He stated: “You can see that there’s a little bit of swing voter in him. Not more than a little bit,  sometime a fair amount. I think he is what I would describe as a right leaning swing voter, right?”

However, he expressed deep concern about Rogan’s current trajectory, noting how the podcast host has changed from his earlier skeptical stance toward authority.

The analyst drew parallels between ICE operations and post-9/11 security measures, referencing an upcoming interview with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Spencer Ackerman.

He explained that ICE represents “an extension of the war on terror brought home,” highlighting alleged violations of Fourth Amendment protections and documented instances of the agency disregarding court orders.

“There was one this weekend who had noted that he could count just on his recollection alone, his documentation alone, I should say, he found a 100 instances of ICE disobeying a court order,” the analyst stated. He added that another reporter documented 2,400 instances of judicial repudiation within a single year.

Thomas also challenged Rogan’s assertion about left-wing responsibility, posing a hypothetical: “If ICE was doing something that was anathema to the right… and they were doing these kinds of things where they were having standoff with right-wing protesters who were armed and then killing them. What do you think Joe Rogan would say?”

The analyst criticized what he sees as selective principles among Second Amendment advocates, questioning where constitutional defenders are when “jack booted thugs are out here k**ling American armed legally armed American citizens.”

Thomas also talkd about Rogan’s current relationship with authority, contrasting his present stance with past skepticism. He stated, “I can recall a time in my life where Joe Rogan was very skeptical of power… And that person no longer appears to be there.”
