Mike Tyson ‘raped another woman in the early 1990s,’ according to lawsuit

A $5 million complaint filed earlier this month claims that Mike Tyson raped a woman after they first met in a nightclub in Albany in the early 1990s. The lady alleges that Tyson sexually assaulted her in a limo, causing her “physical, psychological and emotional injury” over the years.

The lawsuit stated (as per dailymail):

“I got in Tyson’s limousine to pick up my friend from her house. Tyson immediately started to touch me and attempted to kiss me. I told him no several times and asked him to stop, but he continued to attack me. He then pulled my pants off and violently raped me.”

The Adult Survivors Act of New York provides sexual assault victims with a one-year window to file lawsuits over assaults that occurred years or even decades ago.

The lady wants to remain anonymous because disclosing her identity ‘would certainly pose a risk to me of further mental harm, harassment, ridicule or personal embarrassment.”

She also spoke about the emotional toll the claimed assault had had on her. According to the filing,

“As a result of Tyson’s rape, I suffered and continue to suffer from physical, psychological and emotional injury.”

“I have developed lifelong problems including but not limited to issues with sex, and with being touched as a result of the rape. I have been unable to maintain and/or develop healthy relationships with men or anyone in general. I have experienced extreme emotional suffering including but not limited to nightmares, panic attacks and flashbacks.”

In a different filing, the woman’s attorney Darren Seilback said that his office did not just accept the woman’s word. Instead, they looked into her claims and found them to be “very credible.”

Seilback said on Tuesday that he was unable to make any more comments about the matter.

Tyson squandered an imaginable fortune by 2000s and now has a net worth close to $5 million thanks to his lucrative edibles gig in addition to hosting a popular podcast Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson.

Tyson spent time in prison for a similar assault in the 90s despite insisting on his innocence.

“I just hate her guts. She put me in that state, where I don’t know,” Tyson said. “I really wish I did now. But now I really do want to rape her.” – Tyson made the comments during an old interview in Miami Beach with Greta Van Susteren, who was taking a look back at the circumstances of Tyson’s 1992 trial that ended with him convicted of rape and sentenced to six years in prison.
