Mike Perry fears Logan Paul won’t pay him for being a Dillon Danis backup

Mike Perry was the backup combatant enlisted by Logan Paul in case Dillon Danis fails to make it to their upcoming match on October 14. The bout is set as the co-main event of KSI vs. Tommy Fury.

Mike Perry recently opened up about his apprehensions regarding the event. He revealed a lingering concern about unpaid dues.

Perry asserted that Jake Paul has yet to compensate him for his services back in February as the backup combatant in case Tommy Fury failed to show up. It was during this match that Tyson Fury’s younger brother suffered his first defeat. Perry also harbors the belief that Logan Paul might follow in his brother’s footsteps.

Perry stated, “I just think they’ve had their eye on me for a little while as far as my fighting style, as far as my trash talk. I’ve said a couple of things about them I guess. I’ve seen them around here and there. I’ve sparred Jake.”

He continued, “Jake used my name as the backup fighter for him and Tommy [Fury] but then he didn’t pay me. I believe Logan is going to do those things because they flew me out [to the press conference], that wasn’t for nothing. I keep it professional. I am a professional. I’m not green up on stage asking for attention. I do this for real.”

Mike Perry boasts an impressive record of 3-0 in bare-knuckle, making him the favorite if he ends up facing Paul. However, he remains skeptical about the likelihood of the matchup materializing.

Perry predicts that Paul would likewise withdraw from the bout if Danis drops out of the match.

He said: “Who knows? Maybe Logan has a backup for his backup. Maybe he’s like ‘If Dillon pulls out then I’ll pull out and we’ll have this fighter fight Mike Perry for the co-main event.’ Maybe it will be me and Anthony Taylor. Who knows?”

“It’s weird. It’s like they’re trying to keep my head open to preparing for a fight and preparing to fight on this date on this time but they can’t lock anything in. It can’t be guaranteed. I just have to stay ready like I always have.”

Dillon Danis has contributed to the build-up of tension in his bout against Paul by flooding his social media feed with memes featuring Nina Agdal, Logan Pauk’s fiancée. Given this intense rivalry, the possibility of Danis dropping out of the match seems unlikely at this stage.
