Michael Venom Page making BKFC debut against Mike Perry

Bare Knuckle FC is stepping up its game. The promotion just announced their next card will be featuring former UFC star Mike Perry pitted against Bellator star Michael Venom Page.

The bout is set to take place August 20th as the main event of BKFC 27.

Both of them are very entertaining so the entire promotional cycle surrounding the event should be interesting. Perry previously brought a baseball bat to a previous press conference and took part in a separate scuffle.

“I’m making double. Or more than double because now, they took some pressure off, I guess, with…I need to think about it that way sometimes as if there was a win purse. Triller gave me a good win bonus. I had something to fight for extra. But not having to think about the other side of it, I really just felt like I got to be me” responded Perry when asked directly if he was making more money in BKFC.

Page has long been touted as one of Bellator’s biggest stars. His knockouts have gone viral time and time again and Bellator even went so far as to allow for Page to compete in boxing.

As a boxer, Page is 2-0, having last defeated Michal Ciach in 2018.
Scott Coker touted about allowing for the match up:

Bellator is notoriously more liberal than the UFC, allowing their signees to compete in other promotions.
