Matt Schnell had to overcome some real adveristiy in order to come out of UFC on ABC 3 as a victor. Su Mudaerji landed a number of elbows on Matt Schnell.
Knee from Sumudaerji. And a couple right hands. Schnell rocked again. Hooks from Sumudarije. Schnell counters with a hard 1-2 that pushes Sumudaerji back. Right hand rocks Sumudaerji. Schnell takes him down and mounts him.
Schnell’s legs kept on buckling and he took a world of damage before he took down Su Mudaerji and managed to get to mount, land good elbows and ultimately transition to triangle.

That was one of the most insane fights and comebacks we’ve ever seen.
Schnell admitted he had no recollection of the elbows and of the part of the bout he was losing.
Prior to tonight Schnell was remembered mostly for his anti UFC athletes Union comments but after tonight that might be the 2nd most interesting fact about Schnell.
“I think he got tired from beating on me, and I was able to capitalize.” Schnell said afterwards.
