Logan Paul confirms boxin return, rumored to be facing UFC vet Darren Till

Logan Paul went ahead and revealed to Dave Portnoy that he’s making a boxing return during the latest episode of his podcast.

Paul detailed that he has a new opponent for a boxing match this year, but he hasn’t revealed the name yet.

Logan Paul has no wins in boxing and was previously in talks to face MMA ace turned disgraced crypto influencer Dillon Danis. Danis seems like an adequate opponent for Paul however once Paul tore the ligaments in his leg at a WWE event, that event was scrapped. And perhaps for the best, considering Danis has no team willing to train him.

Now Danis has piped up and offered some ‘inside’ info about Logan Paul’s next opponent.

Danis has since deleted the tweet in typical fashion.

Till has been dealing with a string of losses in his last few MMA outings, including a submission loss to Dricus du Plessis last December. This loss led to his release from the UFC roster. Till claims that he asked for his release in order to deal with some lingering health issues. He has been dealing with knee issues since his unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker in 2020.

Till reportedly shredded his ACL and is refusing to get surgery for it due to a long lay off.

Despite his recent struggles, Till has hinted at a potential boxing match in his future. In a recent tweet, he posted emojis of a pair of boxing gloves, a bag of money, and a finger pointing upwards. While this tweet could mean anything, it’s possible that Till is considering a move to the world of boxing.

Till has also discussed the possibility of taking some time off to nurse his injuries and return to the UFC in the future. While UFC exec Hunter Campbell wasn’t very enthusiastic about Till’s potential return, Till believes that his opinion will change in a few years.

Darren Till has made a number of NFT plays over the last few years so it appears he might benefit from the exposure to the influencer sphere. Not to mention the lack of USADA testing.
