Liver King had previously denied taking PEDs for months.
Liver King is a well-liked wellness expert and has gained fame as a result of his inspirational videos and content about diet and exercise. Since being thrust into the spotlight, there has been a lot of debate regarding whether the content producer is natural or uses PEDs.
PED expert Derek of More Plates More Dates infamy published a video featuring leaked emails from a fitness trainer Liver King (born Brian Johnson) contacted back in 2021 hoping to optimize his PED use and make the best adjustments in his chemical regimen.
Many fans questioned the authenticity of the leak even as the source that shared it verified he had received a similar email.
In the immediate aftermath of the leak, Liver King released a video mirroring the title of the original video – and proving once again he’s great with marketing.
In the video, he cops to using PEDs under the guidance of a certified trainer and shares some of his reasoning for it.
But while his youtube video carefully crafts a humble narrative, this morning he’s singing a different tune on his instagram stories and shading those who have ‘betrayed’ him.
“Good morning primals ! It’s prime time to launch into the day to get early morning sun through the eyes on the face on the skin. This is going to set your best sleep to set your biased Akkadian rhythm so you can live your best life.”
“Make sure to get the bare feet connected anchored grounded into the earth. Primals! These are our ancestral ways to express their highs, the most dominant form to do these things.”
“Here’s my wind for the day to create the winning mindset, to launch myself in the momentum, expressing my deepest appreciation for Derek of more plates more dates. We all know that it’s physical resistance that helps to create and forge a stronger physical constitution. The same applies socially, most emotionally, mentally, spiritually, internally. Derek was the catalyst to help bring me to my knees.”

Which brings us to the fan allegations. On the more plates more dates reddit, fans are suspecting Thailand based coach Steve Vigorous of being the man behind the explosive leak.
While the leaker’s name is redacted there are several telling bits that they accidentally forgot to conceal.
For one, around 34 minute mark of Derek’s video, Liver King mentions in email that he is “12 hours behind” his coach. This checks out with Vigorous Steve who is in Thailand.
There’s also the question of Johnson (Liver King’s real name) mentioning an MRI his coach underwent. Around the same time Vigorous Steve published a video detailing concerns related to Heart Enlargement & Low Ejection Fraction.
Not to mention Steve has a history with Derek. The two belong to the same circles, work in the same niche and have done a number of podcast episodes together.
There’s also the MPMD reddit censorship as well as youtube. We’ve seen circumstancial evidence proving that there’s holds in place to limit any mention of Steve on liver king related content.
It’s unclear at this point if this is a certainty but there are tidbits pointing in this direction.
