Legendary bodybuilding coach and competitor Milos Sarcev opened up about his experiences with various PEDs during an appearance on the Transparent podcast with Nyle Nayga.
When discussing his current regimen at age 62, Sarcev revealed he maintains a relatively modest base of 250 milligrams of testosterone enanthate and 50 milligrams of DHEA. However, peptides have become an important part of his health and recovery protocol, especially following hip replacement surgery.
“I was using BPC-157 and TB-500 for a long, long time,” Sarcev explained, referring to two popular healing peptides. These compounds are widely recognized in the bodybuilding community for their potential to accelerate recovery from injuries and support tissue repair.
Always open to experimentation, Sarcev discussed his willingness to try new protocols provided by peptide companies. He stated, “I tried tesamorelin and I kind of like it.”
Tesamorelin, a growth hormone-releasing hormone analog, caught Sarcev’s attention for its potential fat-burning properties. “I do think that tesamorelin did burn some visceral body fat. I do because I kind of feel that my skin fold is tighter,” he noted.
He also experimented with the classic peptide stack of CJC-1295 and ipamorelin, growth hormone secretagogues that stimulate natural GH release.
“It’s freaky that 15 to 20 seconds after the injection I would get flushed, like really. I could actually feel it,” Sarcev recalled.
However, Sarcev was honest about the limitations of peptides compared to actual growth hormone. “I don’t believe that the growth hormone releasing hormone peptides would be at the same level of GH. I think that GH would be much more potent,” he admitted.
This assessment came from direct comparison when he used pharmaceutical-grade Serostim after his surgery. “I used one box. I could feel dramatically more effect from actual GH because I got leaner.”
The conversation also touched on other health peptides and supplements Sarcev incorporates, including glutathione for antioxidant support, though he noted he doesn’t use it as regularly as some competitors.
His multivitamin regimen is extensive, leading some YouTube commenters to criticize him for overdoing micronutrients. However, Sarcev remains committed to maximizing every aspect of his health protocol.
