Leg Lengthening Is One Looksmaxxing Aspect Clavicular Questions: “The Tech Isn’t Quite There Yet”

During an interview with the Kairouz Bros, looksmaxxing content creator Clavicular talked about where leg lengthening surgery stands today and why he believes most people should hold off for now.

When asked how someone standing 5’7″ could go about getting the procedure done, Clavicular explained that there are currently two main options available.

“Well, you would either have to go to an institute in West Palm Beach,” he said. “It is one of the more famous ones for limb lengthening surgery, but it’s, you know, over six figures. Or you could go overseas, you know, to Istanbul. There are a couple of clinics over there, but there is a risk of infection at some of these clinics in Turkey and it’s quite a bit higher.”

He then elaborated on what can happen if complications arise during procedures performed abroad. “If you get an infection, they have to take all the pins and screws out,” he said. “You have to ladar in the hospital for three weeks and get it redone. So it’s quite a bru tal process.”

That warning fed directly into his central argument about why the procedure is not yet ready for widespread adoption. “The tech isn’t quite there yet, I would say, because you’re really out of commission for about a year,” he said. “It’s about a year-long recovery.”

According to Clavicular, that lengthy recovery timeline remains the biggest barrier right now. However, he believes demand could surge once the process becomes faster and less disruptive.

“Once they figure out a way to make that process a little more, you know, short in length, I would say that more people are going to start doing it,” he said.

When the interviewer suggested waiting for further advancements before going under the knife, Clavicular agreed that patience is the smarter approach at this stage. He also shared his outlook on how soon meaningful improvements could arrive.

“I don’t think it will be more than five years until the tech is so good that people are able to get it done with maybe a three to six month timeline,” he said.

As for whether he personally knows anyone who has already undergone the procedure, his response was brief and direct. “I don’t,” he said. “That’s one of the most rare PSL surgeries.”
