In a video that has circulated widely online, Kung Fu Master Ma Baguo confidently declares his intent to settle the debate once and for all.
Staring into the camera, he announces: “I want to explain to you why the true Chinese traditional Kung Fu is better than MMA.”
The outcome of the match, however, tells a very different story.
During the match, Master Ma Baguo is knocked unconscious by his opponent in a brief and decisive exchange. The MMA competitor lands a clean right hand, sending the kung fu master to the canvas almost immediately.
Rather than accepting the loss, Ma Baguo offers a series of explanations for what went wrong.
In an interview after the match, the master appears visibly frustrated. He insists: “I was very annoyed. I shouId have won.”
According to him, the problem wasn’t skill or preparation, but something far more mysterious. Ma claims his speed and technique were somehow compromised during the fight, though even he seems unsure how.
“Why was a super slow left hook able to hit me? How?” he asks, genuinely baffled by his inability to defend himself.
His confusion soon turns into suspicion. “I couldn’t figure it out. Must have been foul play. Someone must have touched me and put some ether on me. My hands were slow because someone poisoned me.”
Online reactions, unsurprisingly, have been merciless. Many viewers pointed out that the viedeo speaks for itself. Ma’s movements were slow, his defense was nonexistent, and he appeared completely unprepared for real combat pressure.
One commenter put it bluntly: “Master so weak he couldn’t even get a grip on reality!”
Another joked, “I think he forgot to cast ethereal barrier.”
