The always entertaining Kevin Holland made his UFC Welterweight debut. He faced Alex Oliveira during the UFC 272’s main card.
The first round was an action-packed round. Oliveira was getting the better out of Holland. The two fighters traded hard punches and rocked each other. Oliveira appeared more in control of the action. The round ended with Oliveira in back control attempting a rear-naked choke, but given that he had an arm inside the chokehold, Holland didn’t seem very worried about the submission attempt.

The ties turned as soon as the second round started. Holland was able to land a right hand that put the Brazilian on the ground. Holland then finished the fight with ground and pound.

After the fight, the always funny Kevin Holland hinted on who he is looking to fight next in the division.
“I just took down one cowboy, I’d hate to call out another, but… whatever you guys want”.
Holland is clearly talking about MMA legend Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, which is a fight I am certain every MMA fan wants to see.
