Justin Bieber has been having secret boxing lessons and they’re rumored to be going well

Famous singer Justin Bieber is reportedly having secret boxing lessons. The Canadian pop star is allegedly preparing for a new movie role with trainers lauding his abilities.

Justin Bieber previously called out Tom Cruise for a boxing bout some years back. With a built in huge fanbase, he can generate an incredible amount of PPV buys if he decides he wants to.

A good example of this kind of thing would be the social media personality Jake Paul who made the switch to boxing.

This time, screenwriter Gregory Allen Howard revealed the potential of Justin Bieber to jump into the ring. Allen said he was impressed by Bieber’s performance when he saw him sparring. During an interview with Vegas Insider, Allen said:

“From what I’ve seen of Justin Bieber, he has the talent and the boxing skill to crossover from an entertainment background into boxing.”

“He has the ability to become the next Jake Paul. I saw Justin spar and he’s got skills. I’m not telling you he’s ready to be the middleweight champion of the world but he’s not bad.”

Dmitry Salita was a Ukraine born jewish boxer whose family moved to New York when he was 9. He is 40 years old.

Dmitry Salita moved to New York due to antisemitism in Ukraine and pursued a career in boxing after seeing Mike Tyson

Even though it’s for his acting role, Allen believes with that skill the 28-year-old could be a successful boxer like Jake Paul.

“The hard thing in a boxing movie is to move like a boxer. Justin Bieber apparently was taking some lessons, he was really quite credible. There’s a little clip of him on YouTube or something. He’s very credible as a boxer.” Allen said.

“The project is called: Knockout. The arc of it is this Ukrainian kid – Dmitriy Salita – escapes war in his country and moves to Bedford-Stuyvesant, New York, which was dangerous – Mike Tyson was from there.”

“Dmitry was getting his a** kicked and his older brother, Misha, takes him to Jimmy O’ Pharrow’s famous boxing gym and Jimmy teaches him about not just boxing, but about life.

“The story is about Jimmy mentoring Dmitriy, really becoming a surrogate father to him, and the journey they take together. Dmitry became like a son to Jimmy. He learned how to be a man in the vision of Jimmy and together they triumphed in the ring – it’s Rocky-esque.”

“We are trying to get Justin Bieber to play Dmitriy’s character. I was talking to his manager and his manager was going to be a producer of the movie. So we tried Justin but it was a little difficult at the time because he’s in demand. ”

Justin Bieber himself is also a big fan of combat sports. He has been spotted countless times in many boxing and mixed martial arts events.

Bieber previously had a beef with UFC welterweight Nate Diaz due to being a huge fan of Conor McGregor. The two have resolved their issues since.
