Jordan Leavitt promises to ‘twerk’ for London crowd should he beat Paddy Pimblett

UFC lightweight Jordan Leavitt made a hilarious statement regarding his upcoming bout against UFC rising star Paddy Pimblett. Leavitt said he will twerk in front of Pimblett’s knocked out body to trigger his fans in London.

Jordan Leavitt will be facing Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett who just had his second outing in the UFC. Pimblett made his UFC debut in September last year. In his second UFC bout in March, the Englishman rose to more infamy when he choked UFC veteran Kazula Vargas into submission in the first round in front of the home crowd.

With a lot of hype, many fans expected to see Pimblett fighting top ranked opponents. However, Pimblett refuses to fight higher ranked opponents before he signs a more lucrative deal with the UFC. Pimblett is now booked to fight fellow prospect Jordan Leavitt.

Leavitt previously left a lasting impression by twerking and doing the splits in the cage.

Jordan Leavitt will clash in Pimblett’s homeland in the UK on July 23. During an interview with The Schmo, ‘The Monkey King’ said he is better than Pimblett and is confident that he would knock him out.

“It’s gonna be, man. I just have a better rhythm, I’m a little bit more loose. But he’s got the spirit. He’s a bit confused, but he’s got the spirit. I kinda dig it.” Leavitt said.

Leavitt is excited for his next bout and believes it will be a lot of fun to fight Pimblett. The 27-year-old also promised to trigger UK citizens by dancing in front of Pimblett’s unconscious body.

“I’m kind of excited, ’cause they’re (The O2 crowd) gonna get quiet when I finish the fight. And they’re probably gonna riot when I throw a twerk on them. So I’m excited, I’m really excited to meet him (Pimblett). I think he’s hilarious, I think he fight’s gonna be a lot of fun, and I’m intrigued to see how it’s gonna go.”

Jordan Leavitt joined the UFC through the Dana White Contender Series in 2020. Since then, the 26-year-old has gone 3-1 within the promotion. His last bout was last month at UFC Vegas 51, winning the fight against Trey Ogden via unanimous decision. Jordan Leavitt has a total score consisting of 10 wins and 1 loss.
