In a recent interview, Chanco “John Pork” Zaynukov has confirmed that no police report was filed following his altercation with Dillon Danis at UFC 322 in New York. The incident, which went viral on social media, saw Zaynukov and members of Islam Makhachev’s team confront the controversial MMA personality at the arena.
Speaking about the encounter, Zaynukov explained that the confrontation stemmed from Danis’s online posts about his team. “He has to answer for everything that is said,” Zaynukov stated. “He allowed himself to do such things, posted, threw up all sorts of incomprehensible posts. They wrote to me, he says, at the arena. And it turns out there was no time to think about anything. I flew in, hit him from the right, he fell and then it all went on and on from there.”
The fighter revealed he wasn’t actively seeking out Danis at the event. “I didn’t know him at all. I didn’t even know that he would be there in the arena. I didn’t think he’d have the courage to come here like this,” he said.
When asked about the motivation behind Danis’s presence, Zaynukov suggested it was attention-seeking behavior, though he emphasized his team operates on different principles.
Following the altercation, approximately 20 people from Zaynukov’s group were escorted out of the arena by police, though not all were involved in the physical confrontation. “They didn’t draw up a report for me, they didn’t draw up anything,” Zaynukov confirmed. “We were taken back into the arena. Then the police arrived and took us out into the street, saying, if again, well, if you try to come in, we will arrest you.”
Despite sustaining a minor injury to his hand during the incident, Zaynukov expressed no regrets about the confrontation.

The incident didn’t result in any formal charges or protocols being filed. Instead, Zaynukov and his team were simply removed from the venue and ended up watching the remainder of UFC 322 from their hotel.
Zaynukov justified the group’s response by emphasizing loyalty and cultural values. “We always repeat that we are family, that we are brothers, and brother is always for brother, no matter what,” he explained. He also suggested that Danis’s behavior crossed a line that his team couldn’t ignore, stating, “Such things are not forgiven. You must answer for every word.”
The fighter even claimed that during the altercation, Danis appeared shaken. “At that moment he seemed to have such a look, as if he wanted to cry,” Zaynukov recalled.
