John Kavanagh On Jake Paul’s Offer To McGregor: “That’s never been suggested.”

The YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has been calling out the former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor for a while now. While Paul and his team constantly ask for the McGregor fight on social media, head coach John Kavanagh insists that there’s never been an actual discussion about the fight.

Despite Jake Paul and his team’s claim of discussing the fight with McGregor’s team that included a ludicrous $50 million offer, Kavanagh says that never been any talks, that he has been aware of, about the potential matchup between the UFC superstar and the YouTube sensation.

McGregor himself has insisted that Jake Paul is not on his radar for the time being. But Paul said his manager Nakisa Bidarian is currently reaching out to McGregor’s manager Audie Attar.

“He might talk to Audie all the time, but no,” Kavanagh replied when asked if Paul was a possible opponent at a fundraiser for injured MMA fighter Ian Coughlan in Dublin.

“I guess it’s interesting to hear some of the negotiation tactics by that big organization being leaked through Jake Paul, so it’s kind of fun to follow that.”

“But as for Conor vs Jake, I’ve honestly never once heard that, and I’ve heard some very crazy things, but that’s never been suggested.” the founder of Straight Blast Gym Ireland added.

Besides McGregor, Paul also begged for a fight with fellow UFC superstars Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz to Dana White, which White brush it off.

Paul’s recent career in boxing has been quite smooth so far with him having wins against two former MMA world champions in Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley, both by stoppages. While the Irishman had a rough 2021 with two back-to-back TKO losses against heated rival Dustin Poirier which left him with a broken tibia and fibula bones on his last outing back in July last year.
