Joe Rogan says that peptides like BPC-157 are helping people in 50s stay in peak shape

During the Joe Rogan Experience episode with guests Cameron Hanes and Adam Greentree, the topic of peptides and BPC 157 came up in the context of modern health optimisation and recovery for athletes and hunters.

The conversation touched on how advances in wellness treatments have allowed bow hunters and athletes to maintain peak physical condition later in life than previous generations.

Rogan noted that people in their 50s can now be in the best shape of their lives through various interventions including stem cells, IV treatments, supplements, and other modern science-based approaches.

Cameron Hanes emphasized this point, stating he’s 58 years old and physically at his best ever, despite having hunted for over 40 years. He explained this combination of decades of experience with peak physical conditioning creates an advantage that didn’t exist before.

“We go to Ways to Well today and get stem cell and get you know the IV treatments and get everything else to be able to operate at our absolute prime at 58 years old with 40 years of experience,” Hanes said.

The discussion acknowledged that even someone starting bow hunting at 40 or 50 years old can now take on intense physical endeavors and have success due to these new treatments and understanding of human performance. Rogan pointed out that Jelly Roll, who started bow hunting in his 40s, is now a different person after just two years.

When the topic of medical establishment skepticism arose, Rogan defended BPC 157 specifically, stating: “I’ve talked to doctors that s**t on it. And I had this one conversation with a doctor that is, I like he’s a nice guy, and he’s like I think it’s a lot of placebo. And I go there’s peer-reviewed studies on BPC 157, like you’re saying this and you haven’t done the research. Like this is not debatable like BPC 157 it’s a there’s a very clear pathway they show why it works. It naturally exists in the human body and you can enhance your body’s ability to recover from soft tissue injuries.”

Hanes added his personal testimony: “I see I do see a lot of doctors who kind of s**t on BPC or s**t on stem cells and I’m like I whatever you’re saying, cool. But I’ve never felt better.”

During the episode, Rogan emphasizes that these treatments, including peptides, stem cells, and other wellness interventions, are allowing people to maintain higher energy levels and better physical condition, which improves not just athletic performance but overall quality of life and cognitive function.
