Joe Rogan Says Alleged Alien Bodies Found in Peru Should Be “The Main News” as Public Scrolls Past Nazca Mummies Controversy

Joe Rogan believes the discovery of mysterious mummified remains in Peru deserves far more attention than it is receiving. During episode #2429 of The Joe Rogan Experience with comedian Tom Segura, the podcast host expressed frustration that these potentially groundbreaking findings are not dominating news cycles while public attention remains fragmented by social media and political controversies.

The conversation turned to Peru’s archaeological mysteries when Segura mentioned visiting Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines. Rogan seized the moment to discuss what he considers one of the most significant unexplained discoveries in recent history, the tridactyl mummies found near Nazca, Peru.

“This should be the main news.”

“Other than the wars, this should be the main news today.”

The mummified remains feature beings roughly three feet tall with unusually large heads, three fingers and three toes. What Rogan finds especially compelling is their consistency with ancient Peruvian artwork that has depicted three fingered and three toed beings with large eyes for more than a thousand years.

Rogan explained that CT scans of the specimens reveal complete anatomical structures including ligaments, tissue and organ systems, suggesting they were once living organisms. At the same time, their skeletal composition differs substantially from that of humans.

“When you see the structure with the CT scan, you see flesh and tissue.”

“It’s a real structure, but it’s not like a human being.”

One specimen, known as Monzerat, appears to contain metallic implants including a circular gold object embedded in the forehead. Another specimen was reportedly found to be pregnant during examination. The beings also possess fingerprints that differ from human prints and skulls with suture lines that diverge from standard human cranial patterns.

Carbon dating places the specimens at approximately 1,200 years old, which Rogan argues rules out modern fabrication. His friend Jesse Michaels traveled to Peru to examine the remains firsthand and described the experience as deeply unsettling.

“He said it was unreal. He said it’s really bizarre.”

“He was in the room while they were doing the scans. He said it feels so surreal because it’s so obvious that it was a real living thing.”

The remains were originally uncovered by grave robbers which complicates verification since the precise discovery site remains unclear. Peruvian authorities have also been hesitant to allow the specimens to leave the country for expanded testing.

What frustrates Rogan most is the apparent lack of public curiosity. He attributes the indifference to what he describes as a social media induced trance.

“There’s a giant percentage of our population that’s in a trance.”

“They’re all on TikTok. It’s all rotting their brain. They’re locked in on nonsense, on things that don’t have any bearing on their life whatsoever.”

He contrasted the muted reaction to the mummies with the attention paid to political scandals and celebrity narratives.

“You show them something like this and they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s cool.'”

Segura echoed the sentiment.

“It strikes me too that this isn’t the primary conversation we’re having.”

The discussion expanded into the broader history of ancient civilizations in South America. Rogan referenced recent LIDAR discoveries in the Amazon rainforest that revealed vast road systems, aqueducts and population centers previously unknown to researchers. He noted that much of the jungle’s density is the result of regrowth after civilizations were decimated by diseases introduced by European explorers. Within roughly a century, millions d-ed and the forest reclaimed their infrastructure.

“They didn’t even know this until they started doing this LIDAR stuff.”

“They’re finding aqueducts and roads and complex irrigation systems. These were all buildings and streets. They had millions of people living in the Amazon.”

Rogan also referenced congressional testimony involving unidentified aerial phenomena and alleged recovery of non human craft. Despite sworn statements from high level whistleblowers, he noted that the public response has been largely apathetic.

“The congressional testimony of high-level whistleblowers being like, ‘We have these ships, whatever you want to call it,’ and then it’s like in a congressional testimony and everyone’s like, ‘That’s cool.’ Nobody cares.”

Whether the Nazca mummies represent an extinct species that once coexisted with humans or something entirely unknown, Rogan believes they warrant serious scientific investigation and sustained public discussion rather than being dismissed or scrolled past in favor of more trivial distractions.
