During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience featuring UFC light heavyweight Khalil Rountree Jr., Rogan played what he thought was authentic footage of the retired Russian fighter discussing discipline.
“Every man [attached] to something. Some smoke, some drink, some chase girls,” the AI voice mimicking Khabib stated. “But real man he [attached] to discipline. To early wakes, to prayer, to training, to silence.”
The AI Khabib continued with motivational declarations: “Discipline no need motivation. Discipline move without feeling. Discipline say I go anyway, even when tired, even when lonely. Discipline is best [habit]. You want strong life, discipline build it.”
What made the moment particularly entertaining was Rogan’s genuine enthusiasm for the message. After hearing the clip, he immediately declared, “I’m gonna use that as my morning wake up now.”
Rountree agreed, responding, “That’s what I was just thinking.”
Rogan then contemplated how to incorporate the wisdom into his daily routine: “Where do I include this in my daily routine? Like right when you wake up, that should be your alarm.”
