Joe Rogan changed up his look for UFC 276 – And the fans viciously roasted him for it

Joe Rogan is a staple of the UFC broadcasts. Popular podcaster and comedian has been with the UFC for the better part of the last 20 years helping build UFC into the household name it is now.

Joe Rogan has been with the biggest MMA promotion for almost two decades. The 54-year-old has been doing backstage and post-fight interviews since 1997. With his first show being UFC 12: Judgement Day. And even before that, Rogan has been a huge fan of MMA and has already trained Brazilian Jiu jitsu since1994.

His commentary career started in 2001, when he became friends with Dana White who was later chosen to be the president of the company. When White became the UFC kingpin in 2002, he asked Rogan to try commentating UFC fights. During one of the episodes of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan explained how he almost refused the life-changing opportunity.

“He [Dana White] was like ‘do you want to do commentary?’ and I was like ‘I don’t want to do commentary, man. I here to get drunk and watch watch people kick the sh** out of each other, I’m not here to work’. And he talked me into it for one show UFC 37 and a half, it was a show that was on one of those Fox Sports networks… I think it was the best damn sport show period… I did that and the rest is history.” Rogan said.

Rogan’s facial expressions and sayings have long been a meme in the fan community. Rogan typically shows up in a dark shirt and game for anything – but during the last PPV event he significantly changed up his look showing up in a tie.

Considering the widely publicized disdain Rogan has for wearing a tie the fans were very surprised.

Not to be outdone, TFATK community produced the following commentary:

To make matters funnier, Rogan has long been a critic of ties due to the ease with which they could get one killed.
