Jake Paul’s company casts doubt on McGregor vs Logan Paul Boxing match

Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), Jake Paul’s boxing promotion company, has thrown cold water on rumors of a potential bout between Logan Paul and Conor McGregor with a simple yet telling social media response.

The speculation began when McGregor shared a post from a parody account claiming that each athlete would receive $250 million for participating in a match supposedly financed by the Ambani family in India. The news gained traction after The MacLife, McGregor’s own publication, shared the information.

MVP’s response on X (formerly Twitter) consisted of three “cap” emojis – internet slang indicating something is untrue – effectively dismissing the legitimacy of these reports.

Several factors make this proposed matchup unlikely. McGregor remains under contract with the UFC for two more appearances, while Logan Paul is currently focused on his WWE career, with ambitions to secure a championship in 2025 and potentially star at WrestleMania.

The bout would also face challenges in terms of fan interest. Industry observers suggest that a match featuring Jake Paul, rather than Logan, might generate more buzz due to Jake’s superior boxing record and previous exchanges with McGregor.

Both potential competitors have limited professional boxing experience, with each holding identical records of zero wins and one loss. McGregor has not competed in any capacity since his 2021 setback against Dustin Poirier, while Logan Paul has been making his mark in professional wrestling.

While behind-the-scenes discussions may be occurring, MVP’s dismissive response suggests that fans shouldn’t expect to see this matchup materialize anytime soon.
